The countdown can now go in hours. We have two and a half days of school left. This weekend I bought each of my kids a mongo workbook to keep their brains moving this summer. My "plan" (and mind you this "plan" has failed miserably in the past) is to have us do chores and school work before we have fun everyday. We'll see if I can outlast the mutiny this year.
I have also stocked up on easy to grab snacks, sunscreen, and drinks. Hopefully this will help us hit the ground running for next week. Hooray.
For those of you who are following the blog, I will post the upcoming week on Sundays. I may not have super specific details (movie times, or departure points) until the day before an activity to allow for people who want to join, but need a little wiggle in the schedule.
So there it is. It's going to be a wicked fun summer.
